![]() Sounds like a good place to start if they want to revive the IP in some format that's outside of the proposed film adaptation and the upcoming animated series but they would need to really shake the gameplay and presentation up for modern audiences (a la NSMB, DKCR, or Rayman Origins), as opposed to doing the retraux route again. They did seem to have struck on something good with MM9, and while MM10 wasn't as acclaimed, it still sold well for Capcom to raise the idea of an 11th installment not too long go. In light of that knowledge, and how there doesn't really seem to be anyone at Capcom fighting for the IP to get new games.yeah, bringing Mega Man back in some meaningful form is an enigma. The sheer amount of subseries and spinoffs they've allowed to happen for a historically low-selling series is absolutely insane. ![]() ![]() ![]() For a series that apparently hasn't even had one game that even cracked two million units, Capcom allowed the overseers to franchise it to hell and back. As someone not very familiar with the series, I'm pretty surprised by the sales numbers being posted. ![]()
